With a combined 30 years experience in fabrication and design, the co-founders of Paradise Labs branched out beyond their fine art backgrounds into a variety of other creative fields. They needed a brand identity that would immediately communicate the quirky, fun, and unique company they were about to create together.

The original inspiration came from the client wishing to explore a mash up of science equipment and visions of paradise aka palm trees and sunsets.

The final logo pulled from tropical inspired colors while keeping a vintage science fiction element present.

A secondary logo system was created that leaned a little harder into the 1980s video game style that created some of the original inspiration.

The goal for this logo was to create an identity for Adam and Pete’s new business that immediately created intrigue. The pair had always imagined a scientific element juxtaposed with traditional vacation elements to invoke a down to earth feeling.

Shortly after the logo was completed, work began on the Paradise Labs website. This website needed to be slick, compelling, and yet at the same time not share too much information. We settled on a simple wireframe that easily communicated what they do through layout, text and photographs, while building a modest gallery that showcased their work.
